    Only use this location for free Amazon or online returns. Do not bring your own items here to be packed or shipped unless you like getting ripped off. Because UPS stores are independently owned franchises, pricing varies wildly, and this location is heavily marked up. The employees are perfectly nice, but their prices are ridiculous. For comparison, I took my items to a UPS store in Metairie and paid less than half of what this store quoted me for the exact same packing and shipping service. Save your money and go elsewhere for actual shipping.

    I have been a customer for over 5 years. I will continue be a loyal customer. UPS is has numerous services and helpful staff.

    I went to ship multiple boxes late afternoon the day after Tulane graduation. As expected, the shop was very busy, with a line out the door and boxes stacked to the ceiling in the waiting area. The line moved very quickly, and I was served in less than ten minutes. The staff was friendly, professional, and amazingly calm after what had surely been a crazy day. All packages got shipped and arrived as expected.

    Came in to do an Amazon return and the whole process was super easy. The employees were friendly, quick, and helped me out right away. I was in and out pretty fast with no problems at all. Definitely one of the better UPS Store experiences I’ve had.

    I’ve been here 3-4 times and have had an issue finding parking in the lot each time. It’s especially challenging in the 5 pm hour with all the UPS trucks being loaded in the parking lot. The customer service also leaves much to be desired. My cell provider sent me a shipping label that I was told I UPS would print free of charge. The associate helping me told me to email it to the store and printed it. I asked to purchase bubble wrap. And at the time of check out a young woman stopped the associate helping me to tell him to charge me for the printing. When I inquired about whether or not it was a courtesy as my wireless provider had stated, the woman informed me there is a base printing cost plus a charge per page. It was nominal. So I had no issue paying it. I then told the young woman who intervened in the transaction that they should practice notifying customers of the charge prior to executing the service. To which she responded that it wasn’t too late for me to leave and go print it myself. I assured her I don’t mind paying the fee, only that they should let customers know first. I found her dismissive and enough of a reason not to return to this UPS Store. I did, however, rate 2 starts rather than 3 because the new hire who helped me was kind, patient and helpful. Perhaps he’ll be a catalyst for change. But I guess I’ll never know since I won’t be back.
