    The customer service lines are always long and slow, which is a problem if you are holding heavy packages. I was charged $5 extra per box for prepaid labels and offered new boxes, which I did not need and declined. I ship daily. Not a good move on their part. I will go to the Gretna location in the future for pre-labeled larger boxes. The self-service line is quick and easy for smaller packages. Parking is good. The store is clean. I will only use this location for self-service drop-off boxes in the future.

    Like most reviews on this UPS is typically negative. I also have to agree this has to be the worst UPS of all. I'm a black man, and I understand that this u p s is black owned, and because of that, they believe that they should treat black customers totally different from they do their caucasians when they come in there, like I did today.The caucasian press in front of me needed tape, and they gave it to them with no problem.But for the second time that i've gone there, they choose to charge me for tape.They charge for every single thing they are mean at the.Register, they are sarcastic into talking to you, and it's the most unprofessional place ever

    Avoid the Harvey location and drive a few extra minutes for the Gretna store, which is more highly rated for good reason. For the past two years, I have been dropping off a prepaid label package to UPS on a monthly basis. The Gretna location is my preferred store but I also use other ones (s claiborne in new orleans, pack rat uptown, etc) and have never had a problem until today. The package has a zipper because it is for a clothing rental subscription and two staff in Harvey refused to accept the package dropoff unless I paid extra for them to zip tie it. Never before has an extra fee nor has zip-tying been a requirement and the staff explained that the Harvey location is independently owned. So basically this owner is trying to scam people for extra money and I will make sure to go out of my way to never give the Harvey store my business!
