Purchased a sub at this location today. I’ve eaten at this place in the past and the food has always been great, until today. I made my order online using the Subway app. I ordered a Subway Club sub on toasted wheat bread, with added mustard and provolone cheese. I also asked in the special instructions to cut in half and individually wrap each half. I also ordered a cookie.
When I picked up my order, the special instructions were not followed, so I had to wait while she wrapped each half. The cookie was not included so I had to bring it to her attention. I wanted a chocolate chip cookie but none was on display, but she said there was some in the back and she brought one out.
When I left and got down the road, I started to eat one of the halves only to discover that there was no added provolone or mustard, and the bread had been toasted to the point of being crumbly and falling apart. When I finally got to the cookie, it was cold. Not just cold as in not warm, it was literally cold, like it had just been removed from a refrigerator.
I really should have checked my order more carefully but this was the first time I’ve ordered on the Subway app and ordering in person was never an issue. I’ve had great sandwiches from Subway before and I’ve had “okay” ones, but never one that was actually bad. If I use this location in the future, I’ll make my order in person so I can watch my order being prepared.
