Arrived on Thursday, left Sunday (July 4th weekend), room was never serviced. Friday night had to go get our own restock of towels, trash was never removed. My husband spilled a little coffee in front of and in the elevator Thursday evening, it wasn't cleaned until sometime after 10:00am on Saturday. Breakfast was the worse ever. No paper plates available, only paper bowls. The automatic coffee machine needed cleaning so it was out of service. They only had carafe's of coffee. This is supposed to be a PLUS facility. Everyone was super friendly this time but it definitely wasn't worth the price I paid.

We used to live in New Orleans and this is now our go to hotel when we go back. Great service, nice rooms, convenient to everything.

The staff I encountered were extremely unprofessional. Terry the front desk person was so out of control and threatening that I had to call the police as I was in fear for my safety, her Manager did not help the situation. Must be bad leadership all the way from the top. I paid for 3 nights and had to be escorted safely off of the property by law enforcement before I even stayed 1 night. Completely unprofessional and I do not recommend staying here if you value your safety. If you expect to be treated as a guest, or with respect, go somewhere else.
I stayed here for the Hondo Rodeo (4/10/26) at the Caesar Superdome, which was about 25–30 minutes away. Traveling solo, I felt very safe—even though it’s located near a prison. The room was clean and comfortable, and having an Aldi right next door was super convenient.
I ended up booking another night after finding out there was a parade on 4/11/26 known for “catching groceries,” which was a really fun experience.
I did enjoy my stay and would stay here again, but I can’t give a higher rating because of a billing issue. Even though I prepaid online, my credit card (which was just supposed to be for the deposit) got charged for two full nights. I brought it up with the front desk right away, but they told me to check with the next shift—and I ran into the same issue again. It finally got fixed on 4/17/26.
Overall, a good stay, but I’d recommend not prepaying online to avoid any problems.
