I did not eat here today, and after the encounter I had, I never will. I came to Wilmore for a 11 am funeral. All the parking around the church was full. I went to the shopping area in hopes of finding a spot for the hour I would be in town. There are spots immediately behind the Subway market customers only. I drove past those. I saw there were spots at the other end of the building with NO SIGNAGE. I parked and was walking with my daughter to the church. An employee smoking on the back deck called out, "Are you going to Subway?" I responded that we were going to a funeral. She responded we couldn't park there. I said there's no sign. She said it didn't matter, we couldn't park there. I asked couldn't she show some grace for people attending a FUNERAL?? She said, oh just go ahead and park there, but I was so offended I decided to move to another spot. I told her they should put signs marking all of the spots for customers and she actually had the nerve to respond "everybody knows." I told her that I am a visitor to the area so how would I know and she shrugged at me. That woman cost Subway my business today and any future time I come to Wilmore. No one that talks to people like that, potential customers even, should be in a position to interact with the public. And funny enough, all those precious spots she was worried about me taking away from a customer were EMPTY when we left the service.
