  Rob went above and beyond to make my experience at Advanced Auto Parts a genuinely positive one. He was careful and meticulous and always mentioned the risks in the assistance he provided, and demonstrated years of experience in helping me navigate an unorthodox battery change. He really saved my bacon today and I'm deeply grateful to him.

  My 16-year-old son went in on Friday to order a window regulator and was told they would call him on Saturday. He never got a call. He called back on Sunday, and they told him they would call him right back. Again, no call. I called on Tuesday, and I was not rude or frustrated. I understand that mistakes happen. But within about 45 seconds, the store manager hung up on me when I asked why they had not called him back. She said she had not been there, so she did not know, and then she hung up. I went to the store right away to see whether they had the part and to ask why she had hung up on me. From the moment I walked in, she was hostile and escalated the situation with her attitude. I told her that hanging up was inappropriate and asked to speak to the manager. She then said that she was the manager. My son is 16 and was trying to handle this responsibly. He probably would have been a customer for life if they had simply communicated with him the way they should have and treated us with basic respect. We are not confrontational people, but her attitude was completely over the top. I would not recommend this place. If you need parts, save yourself the trouble and go to NAPA instead. They are professional and know how to communicate with customers.

  I'm almost ready to say I won't buy my auto parts anywhere else. I own obscure cars so parts availability is always an issue but Advance Auto has fantastic prices and deals (I usually order online and pick up in store to take advantage of their coupons on the website). Customer service in the store is up to standard with friendly people and timely help. As long as they continue with their online discounts they will soon capture a huge percentage of the market share for aftermarket parts. Thanks!
