  Complete scam. Cricket used to be a decent provider, but they have gone to hell. Firstly they lie and say you get a discount as a current customer, but in reality it's full price if you upgrade your phone plus you pay an activation fee that is unnecessary! On top of that now they want you to pay $120 over a 2 year period to save $200 "more" on 1 future phone upgrade. It's a complete scam! There is no savings! Also they keep installing malware on your phone in the apps they install every month without your consent! I am leaving them after 10+ years as a customer because my old phone is dying and there is no incentive to buy a phone from them or remain a customer when I can go to a new provider. My new provider I'm paying less for a new phone, my service costs less, and it's the exact same type of plan. Cricket you need to do better! I'm sick of your lies, scams, and malware!

  One of the worst services I have ever used. I called to ask a simple question. They told me they could not give me any information over the phone, even about a very simple question, claiming they didn't have any information and that it was illegal for them to give me information over the phone about my own account. I would need to come in. This is after I have set up a code for my account. The representatives should be able to look at my account and give me basic information over the phone. There is no excuse for this kind of terrible customer service. The representative only gave me the number for corporate in which I waited on the phone for over 15 minutes for them to answer my question and tell me the representative could have answered my question over the phone.
