I normally don’t leave reviews, but after multiple bad experiences at this location, I feel like I need to warn other people. I visited the Industrial Street Subway today because it’s the closest location to my house. I placed my order at the drive-thru kiosk and then sat at the window for around 15 minutes without a single acknowledgment from staff. No greeting, no “we’ll be with you shortly,” nothing.
What made the situation even more frustrating was watching another couple park, walk inside, place their order, get their sandwiches, and leave before my boyfriend and I were even spoken to at the drive-thru window. Eventually Alexander opened the window and simply said it would “be a little longer.” Meanwhile, Stephanie, who I was told was the manager on duty, was standing in the background instead of helping move things along while customers were waiting. It took until 4:00 PM (we arrived at 3:30) just for my payment to finally be taken. The biggest issue is that this is NOT the first time this has happened at this location, and it’s not the first time I’ve had problems with extremely long wait times involving Alexander for a very simple order. The store constantly seems understaffed and poorly managed. I understand being busy, but completely ignoring customers for extended periods of time is unacceptable, especially in a drive-thru where people expect efficiency and communication.
At this point I’ll just be driving across town to the other Subway location instead. The service at this store has been consistently disappointing.
