I’I’ve ordered from this location for quite some time now, as it’s in my hometown. I’ve kept my mouth shut and never left a review, but this place absolutely sucks. This has to be the worst Subway location I’ve ever been to.
They are constantly out of things. At one point, they didn’t even have cold cuts. If you don’t tip on a mobile order, your food is going to be trash. Never mind that they are already PAID to make your sandwich, apparently, if you don’t tip at least $1, your food will be wrong and disgusting. 9 times out of 10, they don’t accept coupons either.
Ordered online and selected “Meet Me at My Car”? You’re greeted with an attitude and somehow end up waiting longer than the expected pickup time. All of this is from personal experience.
Today was the final straw.
I ordered online for what will now be the last time. I ordered a 6-inch ham and cheese sub on Italian Herbs & Cheese bread and a soup. I arrived at the location about 10 minutes after placing my order, grabbed my bag, and immediately realized there was no soup.
The employee informed me that they didn’t serve soup and wasn’t sure why her manager allowed soup to be available on the app. She said she had already informed her manager and that I could choose either a bag of chips OR a drink.
I asked if I could have both since the soup was around $4, and she said no, it was one or the other. I explained that neither option was of equal value, but she told me that was simply what her manager said and there was nothing else she could do.
I was in a hurry and had to get back to work, so I reluctantly grabbed the chips and left. And even then, they barely had any chips stocked. The ONLY options were Original Lay’s and BBQ.
When I got back to work, I tried to eat my sandwich and discovered that the bread was stale and completely rock hard.
And I know the employee who made my sandwich was aware of it. The sandwich was cut completely through because THE BREAD WASN’T EVEN BENDABLE. It was literally rock solid. When I took a bite, the bread actually cut up my mouth.
So not only did I spend $11 at this location, I was only able to eat the chips. Chips I didn’t even want in the first place.
I am absolutely furious.
I will never return to this location. I will happily drive the extra miles to another Subway where they can get my food right without apparently needing a tip, where the bread is actually fresh, and where they have consistent stock.
Don’t waste your time or your money here. $11 of my hard-earned money went straight down the drain because the workers couldn’t properly fulfill my order and the manager couldn’t even take the time to look me in the face and offer a refund.
The entire situation could have been avoided with one simple phone call. And I know they can call customers because they’ve done it before when they were out of MAYO.
At this point, I’m done giving this location my money. I’ll gladly drive farther to another location that actually values its customers.
That being said, the manager or store owner still has an opportunity to make this right by finally refunding my money for food I couldn’t even eat. I paid for a sandwich and soup, and I should not have to pay $11 for food that was either unavailable or completely inedible.
