My print order was ready within the day and the people at the counter were helpful. There was someone using the paper cutter so Julian stepped in and offered to cut my 11x17 sheet to size. He made sure to not cut into my artwork but also not allow any white border to show.
Special thank you to Julian for helping me with my order. He went above and beyond!
I told them that the other location had already sent me to this location, but the guy I dealt with was extremely unprofessional and unhelpful. The package only had a sticker on it, and it was going to the exact same destination anyway, so I don’t understand why it mattered which location transferred it. The way I was treated was completely unnecessary and very disappointing. Definitely not the level of customer service I expected.
I’ve been around long enough to remember when people treated workers with a little dignity and had enough common sense to read a sign before asking a question. Sadly, those days seem few and far between.
I stopped by this establishment the other day, and what I witnessed genuinely bothered me. The employees appeared to be doing the best they could while being short-staffed, yet customer after customer walked in with an attitude. Instead of taking a moment to read the clearly posted signs or use the self-service area as intended, they expected someone to hold their hand through every little thing.
One interaction stuck with me. An employee was politely explaining to a customer that they couldn’t accept UPS packages at that location. It wasn’t a difficult concept, yet the customer looked at him as if he were the one who didn’t know what he was talking about. The poor fellow kept his composure far better than I probably would have.
Folks, whatever happened to patience? Whatever happened to saying “please,” “thank you,” and respecting the people who are simply trying to earn an honest living? You wouldn’t march into your doctor’s office, your mechanic’s shop, or your own workplace acting like that, so why is it suddenly acceptable here?
After reading some of the negative reviews and then seeing things with my own eyes, I can’t help but think many of the problems aren’t with the employees at all—they’re with the customers. The staff deserve a little grace, a little patience, and a whole lot more respect than they’re getting.
Maybe it’s just the old man in me talking, but I miss the days when common courtesy wasn’t so uncommon.
No greeting. Full service is 2.50 cents. Did not have a staple remover in full service. The lady who was available didn’t acknowledge me for 6 minutes while I standing in line and there was only one person before me who was being assisted by a gentleman. Certainly horrible service here. I was advised to fax 14 pages would be $28 which I faxed. Via self service. FedEx charge me 50.00. I called Frdex to advise if the overcharge on my card and they referred me back to the store. I just came back from the store spoke with Angie who says that FedEx places a hold on your card that will fall off in 24 hours. I informed her that the service that I previously had was poor and having a customer stand in line for six minutes before being acknowledged is unacceptable. She apologized but was not empathetic and was unauthentic. She said she’s been here for four years and I informed her I’m not sure how she’s been here for four years and she said because she’s good at our job and I said apparently not. This store needs new management because the management isn’t customer service friendly. Unacceptable! Not good. Be sure you do not pay by card if you do not want a hold placed on your card. I will never be back at this FedEx store again at 53rd and Lafayette Rd, The Pike Plaza store.
