  This just goes to show how the staff treat people, I believe this is my first time leaving a review like this ever but the safety of my life and others was literally endangered by the staff here. There was an active tornado in the area of chesterton worst they have ever seen doing irreparable damage to the area, we pulled off while traveling and entered seeking any shelter possible. Me and my family bought sandwiches after the man at the front had yelled “can I help you!” multiple times, that was all fine and dandy if you need us to buy food to stay we absolutely will. We are a family with two children while he was making the sandwiches he told us that we could not stay there and would have to pay and find somewhere else to go. The sky was black and the winds were literally at 100 mph while he was telling his employee to lock the door after us. This was not a teenager this was a grown man throwing young children and adults onto the sidewalk during the worst storm the area has seen in years. There was no bargaining with him though we pleaded for our safety and a place to go. This experience was enraging as we ran across the street to the starbucks the entire family was crying and in shambles, the kind people there let us in. The restaurant itself may be well run and the food may be good but in situations like these please train your employees to be kind and have a good heart I genuinely did not know what was going to happen running through a storm across the street in the pitch black dark as sirens were blaring and trying to get through winds of 100 mph. Literally that was the situation that we all have to remember for the rest of our lives not knowing if we would make it to a place of shelter before the tornado hit. Just please train your employees in emergency practices. Its a safety issue, im sure your subs are good but the people we encountered at your store today really sucked.

  We came in to eat and shelter from a storm and a tornado. The owner told us we couldn’t stay in there because he’d be liable for anything that happened to us. Kicked us out and locked the door. The tornado and storms were kicking up and it was incredibly dangerous. He literally kicked a family out into a storm. Luckily the nearby Starbucks unlocked their doors and let us in to shelter the storm. He is not a good person.

  Been coming here for years not sure I’ll be returning when I walked in to order I greeted the worker in witch I was blown off by and told we’ll be with you shortly no hi hello or anything great way to start.she was short with me acted like I was a bother to her day for showing up.Another lady walked out of the rest room and cut me in line to buy a couple of drinks i hinted at that and the workers responds is it’s fine his order isn’t done..

  I have to say that I am highly impressed with this Subway. We ordered two foot long subs and got amazing deals for many things. The service was pretty fast and the food was delicious. We sat at clean tables to eat and it was delicious.
