  terrible service from this location with the employee name alex. he really sucks in customer service, he is careless in all aspects of helping any customer. I still can not believe that when that happends customers still go and try the elgin location instead of just going to Oreillys across the street and get the service they deserve.... this guy Alex should'nt be there at all... I ran a retail auto parts store for over 15 years, employes like alex do not last last at all... do not go to this location south elgin customers...

  Terrible customer service from the team and GM Matt!!!! I took my car battery to them 3 days ago and was told it would take 4 -24hrs for the charge. I called the next day to see if it was ready, was told it was not to call back. Called the following day and was told another 24 hrs because it was not charging. Called Today was told it was not ready and if I was not happy to come pick it up. So I did, there I meet with the GM Matt, he said did nothing to help told me the battery might be bad and they don’t charge batteries over night. I explained they had my battery for 3 days and I have made several calls . Told me to wait 30 minutes and can test battery. I told him it was ok and left. I took my battery cross the street to O’Relillys and they gave me great customer service. They tested my battery and in 1:30 the battery was fully charged. Thank you O’Reillys for great service and Advace please do better.
