  Wingstop has much higher potential then where they are at now. When eating at Wingstop the food is usually fresh, the tenders are thick, the temperature is on point. However, they don't have real buffalo flavor ( which is the darker buffalo style sauce, not the original hot flavor) and for certain sauces out there that they use on their main meals, they use tomato paste. Tomato paste is disgusting and not natural food or natural food flavoring. They also use dextrose and sugars on certain meals that does not need to be used. For these reasons, I do not recommend Wingstop at all. 0/5; -/5.

  I placed an online order for a 75-wing family pack on February 5th for pickup on February 8th at the Wingstop location in Skokie, IL. I chose the pickup time of 4:45 PM so our group would have time to enjoy the food by the start of the Super Bowl. We arrived at 4:40 PM and I noticed 50+ other people standing around waiting for their wings. I showed my order receipt to a staff member, and he told me it would be another 20 minutes. While waiting, there was a lot of grumbling and upset customers, who were also told their orders were delayed. After 20 minutes had passed, I asked a staff member for an update, and he told me there were about 50 names ahead of mine and that it would be another 50 minutes. At this point, I didn’t want to wait that long and miss a good part of the Super Bowl. Additionally, I was worried they might even run out of wings. I chose to cancel my order and pick up Chinese food from the restaurant next door (this took 15 minutes). I started visiting the Wingstop in Skokie because it’s closer to my house than the one I used to visit in Evanston. It’s back to Evanston for me, never to visit the Wingstop in Skokie. I don’t think this is a rash decision based on one bad night. Whoever manages this restaurant has no idea how to plan for an expected major event. The worst part was never receiving an apology. No “sorry about that,” only “hey, we got a lot of orders.”
