  We were honestly pretty disappointed with our visit to LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Schaumburg. For the price, we expected a lot more. It felt very overpriced for what was actually offered, and honestly I think they really need to recheck the prices they are charging. The whole place was also pretty messy and didn’t seem very well maintained. The activities weren’t as exciting or engaging as we expected, and even the kids got bored fairly quickly. We’ve been to other kid-friendly attractions where you can spend hours, but here it felt like we had seen and done everything pretty fast. For what we paid, I expected a cleaner space, more activities, and an overall better experience. Unfortunately, I don’t think it was worth the money and we wouldn’t go back.

  Bought tickets online. Stayed for 3+ hours. Could have stayed more! Kids loved the ‘4D’ movies. Small snack bar, no outside food, water ok. The youngest and the oldest (4&10) were more than entertained and the middle one slept well at night. Plus I liked all the building of legos too :)

  "Being an overprotective Gigi"- I was hesitant to bring are 2 grandkids ages 5 and 7 to Legoland at Streets of Woodfield. We had wonderful afternoon, I felt very comfortable and safe be there. Please recognize the staff for their kindness, and patience. Everyone was so incredibly helpful and sweet. I'll definitely recommend, and will be going again. Thank you Legoland.

  We had an amazing time at the Lego Discovery Center in Chicago! The store was exceptionally clean, and it was so much fun for the whole family. A huge shoutout to Ava—she was incredibly kind and helpful, taking the time to assist my son with putting together his Lego project. Outstanding customer service overall! I highly recommend this place to all kids and families looking for a great experience.

  We visited LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago for the first time on 7/25/26. This was a Saturday, and it was surprisingly not too busy. We had visited Lego stores in TX, FL, and IL, but had never gone into the Discovery Center. We went for our son's 7th birthday, and included his parents, aunt and uncle, abuela, 5 year sister, 6 year old cousin, and 11 month old sister. We waited for the right opportunity to go; we used a discount code from the VALPAK. As a family of 5, with the discounted tickets, it was definitely affordable and worth what we paid. We bought tickets for the 2:30pm slot, but they were able to accommodate us to enter earlier. For our first time visiting, everyone enjoyed themselves, even the adults. Our older kids had a blast, and enjoyed all the experiences. We spent about 2.5 hours there, plus another half hour in the store. Every team member we encounters was friendly and professional. Our son did a creative workshop, and loved building the mini dragon. He was able to easily follow along with the team member hosting the event. There are also free rides the kids/adults can enjoy. Food in the cafe is also affordable, and they offer an in-house Starbucks with select/basic drinks. My only issue was the bathrooms. The first time we used the women's bathrooms on the top floor, they were clean. By the second time, they need some attention. I spoke with a team member who was nearby, and they went to address the problem right away. They do have staggered times for entry, but there is no time limit for how long you spend inside the discovery center. I would suggest that if you buy tickets for the Discovery Center, they should offer a 10%-20% coupon to use in their store. We love Lego, and always walk out with 4+ sets. Overall, we had a great experience. The kids talked about it for days.
