  Have not stayed at a Best Western for a while. This location fit the bill for location and $. Overall, stay was good. Everything was clean and with the police dept in front of the hotel, the area was safe. Connie at the front desk was always very helpful, professional, and courteous. I would stay again.

  My husband and I have been staying at the Best Western Plus for about a year now because of work. Our jobs require us to travel, so we've stayed in hotels all over several different states. I can honestly say this hotel has been one of the best experiences we've had. The hotel is clean, affordable, and comfortable, but what truly sets it apart is the staff—especially Connie. We've seen her doing just about everything: working the front desk, cleaning rooms, doing laundry, cleaning outside, and always staying busy. No matter what she's doing, she always greets everyone with a smile and goes above and beyond to help guests. She's willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay comfortable, even when it means taking on extra work herself. Connie is the reason we continue to choose this hotel, and she is a huge asset to the Best Western Plus. It's rare to find someone who genuinely cares about the people they serve, and she makes you feel like family instead of just another guest. Because of the outstanding service we've received—especially from Connie—I would absolutely give this hotel a 10/10. If you're looking for a clean, affordable place with exceptional customer service, I highly recommend staying here.

  Room could have had a better cleaning job. The elevator was broken but that is fine as things do break from time to time. Positive It was close to the VPC. The staff was kind enough to get me bedding for pullout when we asked.

  We stayed here because of a malfunction with our moving truck/trailer that wasn’t resolved until after our check out time. The customer service was unmatched. Connie was more than kind and let us hang out in the lobby for as long as we needed, even providing refreshments as we waited. We also missed breakfast dealing with phone calls, but a very nice employee (I didn’t catch her name, unfortunately) brought us some biscuits and gravy after it already ended.

  Connie has been an incredible help during my time in town at the Best Western Plus in Pontoon Beach, Illinois. From the moment I arrived, she has gone above and beyond to make sure all of my lodging needs were taken care of. She is extremely guest-friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cares about making people feel comfortable. She made me feel right at home and was always willing to help with recommendations on places to eat and things to do with my wife and kids. Her kindness, professionalism, and local knowledge made our stay even more enjoyable. I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in town. Thank you, Connie, for making our experience such a great one!
