    I scheduled an appointment for a passport photo 3 days ago for 9am today. Arrived on time only to be told the person who takes photos doesn’t come in until 9:30/9:45am and that I should come back. What is the point of asking customers to schedule an appointment if you’re not going to honor the time? Walgreens took me in as a walk-in without any issue.

    February 14th 2026 I went to the UPS Store with three large boxes full of Amazon returns. There were a lot of clothing items — many from the same brand but in different sizes — so it took me some time to carefully match each item to the correct return and generate the proper barcode. As I generated each code, I would walk up to the counter, have it scanned, and then step back to a table so I wouldn’t interfere with anyone in line. I was trying to stay organized and not hold anyone up. I had two pairs of the same shoes in different sizes, and I accidentally selected size 14 instead of 15 when generating one of the return codes. I didn’t realize the mistake until after the barcode was scanned and I double-checked it. Once I noticed the error, I asked the tall African American employee — who initially seemed very friendly when greeting customers — if he could help locate the shoes. They were wrapped in plastic, so I assumed it wouldn’t be too difficult to identify. He told me it was 6 PM and that they closed in an hour, and said the item could be in any of the four bins. I politely asked again if he could please check, explaining that I had put the wrong item under the wrong barcode. He responded by saying it could be in any box and seemed irritated. I suggested that if he scanned my barcode again, it would show which bin it was placed in, since the bins were only about 16 inches tall and not very large. At that point, his tone became unprofessional. Another employee — a woman — asked what was going on. He explained that I had mixed up the shoes and wanted the box back. She calmly walked over to one of the bins, reached in, and quickly located the correct box. She handled it professionally and with a great customer service attitude. However, after that, the male employee continued giving me attitude. When more customers walked in, he began commenting that I was wasting their time, that I wasn’t prepared, and that I should come back when I was ready. This felt embarrassing, especially since most other customers only had one to three packages. Meanwhile, there was a young woman at the counter who had been standing there for about 20 minutes also organizing her returns, and he didn’t say anything to her. He also spent about five minutes chatting casually with the UPS driver, which contradicted his earlier statements about not having time and me “wasting” it. The female employee reassured me that it was no problem. She scanned the remaining four packages and even commented that I had quite a few returns. She ended the interaction warmly, saying it was nice to see me, and I responded the same. Her customer service was excellent — exactly what you would hope for and beyond . Unfortunately, the male employee’s behavior felt unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional.
