  Riley is amazing! I was so happy he checked my spark plugs to make sure my spark plugs were NOT cracked! After a bad night with my car he made fixing it easy simple and he delivered the best customer service I’ve had in a while! Ty Riley!

  I stopped into Advance Auto in McHenry looking for a gas line clamp so I could clean the carburetor on my lawnmower without having to drain the fuel tank. While a salesperson was helping another customer at the counter, I searched the aisles on my own but couldn’t find what I needed. After the other customer left and the salesperson and I were the only people at the front of the store, I asked if they carried gas line clamps. His response was, “If we have them, they’d be in aisle three,” and he immediately went back to whatever he was doing behind the counter. The problem was that I had already spent a considerable amount of time searching aisle three and hadn’t found them. That’s why I was asking for assistance in the first place. Rather than offering to help locate the item or check inventory, he simply pointed me back to the aisle I had already searched. Customer service matters, and this experience left me feeling like my business wasn’t important. As a result, I won’t be returning to that store.

  Dear Advance Auto Parts (McHenry, IL), I visited your store over the Memorial Day weekend and was greeted by Riley B. He was one of the most courteous and genuine employees I’ve come across in quite a long time. His customer service was truly beyond exceptional.
