Fantastic place to start over or start fresh. Online data GB usage is just a little bit less than great though. After 22gb of the “unlimited” data it runs slow.

Since I've been with this service I have had shity phones every time I just got one a couple of weeks ago cuz my last one I accidentally had it moved over but this one I buy at a retail and the phone breaks while in my pocket as of right now I am canceling my service

The monthly rate is fair and coverage is good. My family and I have been loyal customers for almost 3 years. That loyalty ended after I was charged for a Cricket employee’s mistake. I drove to the Mattoon Cricket location to discontinue my 4th line as we don’t use it anymore. The young man appeared to be a new employee so I patiently waited while he used Crickets online chat with customer support. I had to correct him as he continued to disconnect the wrong number, even after I pointed to the number on his computer screen. After several attempts and 45 minutes the employee informed me that the line I requested is now disconnected. I thanked him and drove home. At 2 a.m., without warning, all 3 of my phone lines were suspended. Thinking it was an honest mistake I called 611 for customer support, as this is the only number my phone could now dial. I reached an automated voice recording demanding $97 for reconnection and I could not reach a live agent. So either I meet their demand for $97 or stay suspended. I was completely confused as my phone bill of $157.00 was paid just 2 weeks ago. I drove to Cricket wireless in Mattoon explaining what happened. They called customer service and online chat. I was told that the associate cancelled the wrong numbers initially and either the Cricket employee or myself must pay $97.00 for my service to come off the suspension. I spoke with 3 different customer service representatives by phone, 2 Cricket employees and the Mattoon Cricket Manager was contacted as well. All of which informed me that I had to pay for their employees mistake or stay suspended. So not only did they refuse my mobile service that I had already paid for but demanded additional payment for their employee’s mistakes. This incident caused our family A LOT of stress and financial burden. I reached out to the CEO by email explaining what happened and asked for a credit to my account as this was no fault of my own. No response from the CEO. So now I have to file a case in small claims court against Cricket. I have NEVER been treated like this by a company. DO NOT USE CRICKET! Save yourself time and stress… go somewhere else!

this place is the biggest joke. just got off the phone and that was by far the worst customer service experience i’ve ever witnessed in my life. dude wanted to laugh at me and keep cutting me off when i had a simple question. y’all need to steady close down. cause anyone that has worked there in the last two years is awful.
