  The surestay is honestly one of the best hotels around. You can’t beat the down to earth front desk employees! The rooms are always clean! The housekeepers are literally so accommodating! And the best hotel breakfast that I’ve had yet! Always nice to stay here!

  *Pictures taken 2026* Overall it is a nice hotel and worth it's cost. The lobby is renovated and very nice, customer service is excellent and the rooms are clean. The breakfast was convenient and food was good. Plenty of parking available and the hotel is located in a good spot. The surrounding area is safe, there are stores and restaurants within a few min drive.

  Let me start out by saying, if I had seen reviews like the one I am about to leave; I wouldn’t have booked this hotel. You walk in to this freshly remodeled hotel, which only seems to be a bandaid on the actual issues with old hotel rooms. The room has no air circulation, not even a fan in the bathroom. The humidity from even just the shower made everything damp.The bedding felt damp. Our clothes felt damn after sitting in the room all day. Even the paint on the ceiling and door in the bathroom is goopy and peeling away from all the moisture. When we got into the room, the floors were not clean. We found a piece of glass on the carpet floor, and hair on the bathroom floor. The deadbolt to the door to connected room was broken/nonfunctional. Our double room that sleeps 4, only had 3 towels so we had to ask for extra. And is there a need to write in big black sharpie the size of the bedding? Our comforters had big black sharpie “FULL” on it. And stains. I think something written small on a tag would suffice. The only positive of our stay were the staff that helped me. I wish I had gotten their names but it was a gentleman working the overnight shift, and another gentleman working the following AM shift. ***adding this in after the hotel responded. We had a remodeled room. That doesn’t help the fact that it is still originally old. If you are going to properly remodel, you should also find out a way to properly ventilate your rooms. Like I said, the paint is literally goopy and peeling from the walls, it is so DAMP in the room all the time. And none of that excuses the dirty room we walked into with glass on the floor and hair all over. We will not be returning.

  Blood on the sheets, early morning construction over my head, ants in the room, no cleaning services ever showed, and when i asked for some kind of discount the front desk blamed me for the ants (on the third floor) and then the manager lied to me about a twenty percent discount for all of the above. The worst hotel experience I’ve had in years. Avoid avoid avoid

  I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the SureStay Plus by Best Western Chicago Lombard. ​The photos online are completely misleading. The room was extremely small, outdated, and badly maintained, with dilapidated and peeling walls. To make matters worse, there is no proper room service or housekeeping unless you stay for more than 3 days! Coming to a hotel and not even having basic daily cleaning or fresh towels is unacceptable. ​This place is way below any reasonable hotel standards. Save your money and book somewhere else.
