  Hotel is located close to the historic downtown area. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Though the room could use a little updating, it was clean and the beds were comfortable.

  We tried this hotel on our trip to Galena. Disappointed that there is no elevator at the Galena location. Can't do stairs to well because of health reasons. Was not disclosed on the website and found out when we checked it. We won't be staying here again on our next trip. Sorry

  Dirty, Musty and many things are either in disrepair or broken. Pool and hot tub are disgusting and should just be closed down by the State. Would not pass a standard pool inspection. Did not use this amenity- too gross. Green Algae growing on sidewalls of hot tub, broken tiles, "pool smell" meaning chemicals are unstable, cloudy water (cant see bottom), need I go on? The blue empty 10 gallon pail of muriatic acid that was laying in the parking lot was used as shock for the pool...this is done as a last resort to get the pool right. Well run pools may need occasional shock, having barrels of muriatic acid is not how you run a small pool like that. Breakfast?.... we went out eat should say it all. Look for a different location.

  Everything was okay, except the coffee it was very weak tasted like water, Also breakfast was and we were there during the week didn't realize it would be over at 9:00 when you're on vacation during the week and it's kind of early. They also ran out of food other than that the pool and the hot tub were great
