The service I experienced this morning was extremely disappointing. Although the store is scheduled to open at 8 a.m., I arrived at 7:50 a.m. and patiently waited for the doors to open. My frustration began when a white man approached at 7:52 a.m. with a package, and the employee, Casear, opened the door to accept it before promptly locking it again. This action felt disrespectful, suggesting that the store prioritizes certain customers over others. When the store finally opened, Casear completely disregarded my presence, offering no apology and appearing preoccupied, which forced another employee to assist me. Shortly thereafter, he seemed to find time to serve other customers, indicating an awareness of his inappropriate behavior. Ironically, Casear is Hispanic, highlighting the unfortunate reality that sometimes individuals from the same background can treat each other poorly.
