Excellent experience… purchased an item from an auction and had this store pick up the item, package, and ship to me on the east coast. Several days after directing them to proceed .. I received the item! No hassles, no delays, great communication, and a terrific price. Have been buying at auctions for years.. this is by far the BEST experience with a company handling the process!!

⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️WARNING….DO NOT VISIT STORE 5428 @ 516 N Ogden ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️If I could leave negative stars I would but it’s not possible. This has by far been THE WORST UPS store and the worst UPS experience I have ever had in my life. I never had this problem at any other store and I ship packages all the time. I had a car part that didn’t fit and was shipping it back go get my refund of $1000. I had the part, the prepaid label from the manufacturer. All I had to do was take it to a local UPS store and hand it to them and walk out. Simple right???? Nowhere near. My package was shipped on 2/19 and is just now getting delivered 3/27. That’s over a month to ship from Chicago to New Jersey. I was better off taking a road trip and delivering it myself how bad UPS screwed me over. All because an employee of yours doesn’t know what she is doing. This whole process took over 5 weeks. That’s embarrassing for your company. The employee Erica is always on her personal phone when i come in there. No accountability, no apology for losing my package, just scrolling on facebook, tik tok or texting everytime I walk in there. She has a bad attitude and they don’t greet you when you walk in. This is the reason she placed someone else’s label on my box and shipped it off to Houston instead of New Jersey. Not paying attention while doing her job. She needs to be retrained or let go cause she obviously doesn’t know what she’s doing or simply just doesn’t care for the same job that she applied and interviewed for. I was promised a check when my package was lost then all of a sudden it turns up. So now instead of getting a check for my lost package , it was found and delivered after 37 days. It’s too much back and forth and leaves me wondering is it solely just me for some reason or does everyone who walks into that store get piss poor service?? I’m beyond disappointed with UPS the company, store 5428 at 516 N. Ogden’s employee Erika who lost my package, the manager Terry for his poor lack of communication keeping me updated and the owner of the store for not writing my check as promised in a timely manner for losing my package. I will never return to store #5428 for any type of inferior service. I hate to play the race card but at this point, I’m wondering if I wasn’t a black male would I have gotten better service and more empathy and effort into resolving my problem? Black, white, Hispanic , Asian, other. No matter your race, you should be attended to with professionalism. It doesn’t matter, I’m a paying customer and a part of this community and expect to be properly serviced as such. I’ll be sure to leave a review to let the people of the Chicagoland area know of my wonderful month long experience I had while visiting 516 N Ogden Ave. Keep up the good work people.

An OK UPS store
Heavyset woman working on Sunday had a very unpleasant attitude. I returned my “No Box No Label” items and she claimed my items required a package. After showing her the label, she then attempted to argue w/ me and said “Well, only one doesn’t require a package”. I’m just not sure what the fuss was about considering she would have to package the items either way. One of the most odd encounters I’ve ever experienced. She could benefit from additional customer service training.
