I usually know what to expect when walking into a standard franchise, but this location falls short of basic operational and corporate standards.
To start with the positives, the employees themselves seemed to be genuinely nice and trying their best. However, the overall execution and environment need serious attention.
First, the inventory management was way off. They were completely out of three separate items I tried to order. Missing one item is understandable, but missing three points to a clear lack of proper restocking and organization (like cups, napkins, and core food items).
The restaurant's atmosphere was also a bit jarring. Instead of a standard, family-friendly environment, the background music felt out of place—shifting between the radio and what sounded like personal CDs that didn't fit the setting.
The lack of organization carried over into how the restaurant was being maintained. The staff was tidying up, doing inventory, and shuffling items around everywhere all at once. Because it wasn't done in stages or sections, it made the entire dining room feel chaotic and closed down, leaving me wondering where I was even supposed to sit. To top it off, the mop water being used had a noticeably foul, stagnant smell to it, which is the last thing you want to experience in a food establishment.
The staff has the right attitude, but the management or franchise owners need to step up training, organize their restocking habits, and ensure the basic cleanliness and atmosphere match the standards customers expect.
