  I work customer service and my experience was literally appalling. The man working at ~4:05pm on August 19 2026 made my sub wrong then yelled at me. I asked for the sub sauce, which in Canada (where i’m from) is an italian dressing. He put chipotle on my sub and I kindly explained that where I’m from subway sauce means italian dressing, apologized for the misunderstanding, and asked if he could please remake it. He told me “Chipotle is subway sauce, this is on you, not me.” I again explained the miscommunication and asked if he could remake it, and he raised his voice at me and told me noI left as I refuse to support a business that conducts itself this way. The man was rude, verbally aggressive, unprofessional, and flat out ruined my day. Worst customer experience I have ever received.

  This Subway has very poor customer service. I do not recommend this location at all. The employee seemed to prioritize everything else over helping customers. Does Subway allow free refills on fountain drinks? The employee turned off the soda machine so we couldn’t refill our cups a second time. It was a very disappointing experience.

  So the worker asked me what kind of meat I wanted on my sandwich, I said bacon. After taking it out of the toaster I was trying to tell him what veggies I wanted and he told me i could ONLY get the toppings of a BLT…? Not once did I say I wanted a BLT. I don’t mean to be rude, but i could barely understand this guy, and he’s telling me I cant get what veggies I want and i DONT want a BLT. After about a minute of back and forth of just not understanding each other I gave up and told him to forget it, and i went somewhere else. Literally the first place in chicago I went to, what a lovely welcome gift ❤️
