Subject: Formal Complaint – Rude Employee Behavior & Poor Food Service at Subway
Details:
I placed an online order for two footlong sandwiches and was present at the store while it was being prepared on 04/28/2026 at 5:15, at the Subway location 60 E Jackson blvd,60604.
While preparing my order, the employee added extremely minimal toppings (e.g., only 4–5 olives on a footlong). When I politely requested more olives, the employee responded rudely, saying “go back to your table and mind your business”and refused to adjust the order.
When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told the manager was unavailable and the employee refused to provide contact details, stating he would only do so when he felt like it. Later, he directly refused and used inappropriate language, telling me to “do whatever you want.”
I also noticed that:
• My order instructions (cut in half and wrap separately) were ignored
• The sandwich was poorly handled and rewrapped carelessly
• The overall food quality was unacceptable
I have video evidence showing the employee’s behavior, including how his attitude changed when recording began, as well as photos of the food quality. Even in the video i asked him why did he now talk gently because i was recording the video and he said yes.
Expected Resolution:
• A refund for the order
• Proper action taken regarding the employee’s behavior
• Assurance that such conduct will not happen again
