I recently visited this Subway location on Devon, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired.
The food itself was average at best. The vegetables did not seem fresh, which is concerning for a place that markets itself around freshness. The meat appeared fine, but overall the sandwich lacked flavor. On the positive side, it was at least put together properly and didn’t fall apart.
Service was just okay—nothing particularly good or bad, just average and unremarkable.
The biggest issue, however, is the cleanliness of the store. The entire location was visibly dirty. The glass behind the counter appears to have not been cleaned in quite some time, and the tables, chairs, and floors all had noticeable residue, sauces, and debris that looked like it had been there for weeks, if not longer. This is not what customers expect when ordering food.
This level of cleanliness reflects poorly not just on the staff, but on management as well. It gives the impression that there is little oversight or accountability at this location.
Overall, while the food quality was typical of Subway, the condition of the restaurant itself was unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I hope the appropriate steps are taken to address these issues.
Overall the specific location should be ashamed to call itself part of the subway franchise. I highly doubt that the franchise owner of this location cares enough to read this and make the appropriate changes to bring this location up to standards.
