This Subway location has always been my go-to because I live just two minutes away, but after this experience, I seriously won't be coming back.
I ordered a toasted veggie patty footlong on Italian Herbs & Cheese with American cheese. When the employee handed me my sandwich, he even pressed on the veggie patty with his gloved hand to "check" it. I didn't think much of it at the time, but once I got home and took my first bite, I was disgusted. The sandwich was completely cold. The cheese wasn't melted, the bread clearly hadn't been toasted properly, and the veggie patty was still partially frozen with an icy texture in the middle.
I went all the way back expecting them to correct an obvious mistake. Instead, both employees argued with me, insisting nothing was wrong, and refused to remake my sandwich. Their only solution was to "reheat it," despite the fact that all of the cold toppings were already on it. That isn't a fix, it's a lazy excuse for poor food preparation. The worker who made the sandwich told me that this has never happened to him trying to validate his obvious mistake, but I'm looking over the reviews and can tell that this isn't a one time thing. He also blamed the cold sandwich on me because I didn't eat in--mind you I live 2 minutes away, what could possibly happen during those 2 minutes in 95 degree weather?
I'm contemplating if the worst part was the cold sandwich or the complete lack of accountability and terrible customer service. Arguing with a paying customer is unacceptable. Stop throwing in workers who don't even know the basics of properly toasting a sandwich or standing behind the food you serve, and you especially shouldn't be working in food service if you don't understand that your number one priority is your costumers. If this is the standard of service at this location, management seriously needs to retrain their staff or replace them. Do better.

I recently stopped by this Subway on my way to work. Employees are very friendly and had an amazing experience. The sandwiches were fresh and perfectly made. I found restaurant fairly clean by Devon standards, surprised by negative reviews. So definitely recommend.
I recently visited this Subway location on Devon, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired.
The food itself was average at best. The vegetables did not seem fresh, which is concerning for a place that markets itself around freshness. The meat appeared fine, but overall the sandwich lacked flavor. On the positive side, it was at least put together properly and didn’t fall apart.
Service was just okay—nothing particularly good or bad, just average and unremarkable.
The biggest issue, however, is the cleanliness of the store. The entire location was visibly dirty. The glass behind the counter appears to have not been cleaned in quite some time, and the tables, chairs, and floors all had noticeable residue, sauces, and debris that looked like it had been there for weeks, if not longer. This is not what customers expect when ordering food.
This level of cleanliness reflects poorly not just on the staff, but on management as well. It gives the impression that there is little oversight or accountability at this location.
Overall, while the food quality was typical of Subway, the condition of the restaurant itself was unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I hope the appropriate steps are taken to address these issues.
Overall the specific location should be ashamed to call itself part of the subway franchise. I highly doubt that the franchise owner of this location cares enough to read this and make the appropriate changes to bring this location up to standards.
Don’t usually post reviews but SAI, who was working, was extremly helpful and welcoming
