My aunt, a 75 year old senior, purchased a phone from this store. She was not able to receive calls or make calls. So, she took the phone back (gas to drive there 3 times) . They told her that they were working on the towers in her area. They also had her to purchase another phone.
She had a week to return the phone for a "refund". When she took the phone back the second time, she changed her phone out again (with a couple of days left to figure if she was going to be able to access service).
A couple days later, when she took the phone back, they wanted her. to upgrade to a more expensive phone. However, she had not yet been able to access service or receive calls (since she got the phone)!
When she refused to buy another phone, they gave her a "partial refund" that excluded an "activation service fee" for service that she never had access to. She was basically without service after paying for it for about a week and with no recourse but to take what they dished out!!!
They know that they are dealing with seniors, who have limited income and resources to keep running in there (especially within a week's time period). This called predator services. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!
