came for BTS at Soldier Field. One of the best locations, just cross the street after exiting and you’re there. Don’t expect a nice hot or cold comfortable shower after your long day, because the shower handle falls off and you can’t adjust the temp. The curtain doesn’t stretch all the way because they used a curved curtain rod so water gets everywhere. Our room didn’t come with a DND sign, so room service came in when we weren’t there. Our bedding had a pinkish-nude stain on it, like lip products or something. The towels make you smell like the interior of the place (yuck) so maybe bring your own everything if possible. Bathrooms are so tiny so if you’re someone who enjoys a relaxing shower after being out all day in the city, you’re going to have an uncomfortable time between the space, handles, shower curtain, water spillage, oh and not to mention our shower drain didn’t work so our feet were pooled in the bathtub water the entire time. Dirty bedding, and the rooms don’t have a good smell. Ours smelled like cigarettes. Probably better off saving up a couple extra hundred to book the Hilton next door. Would only stay here again if it was my only option

Room 326 on the 4th floor, they mistakenly gave another group of people keys to our room before we got there so we had to sort that out.
Toilet wouldn't flush at random times. Shower was very hard to turn on and off (we believe the handle was loose).
Ceiling had several chips in paint and discoloration, one of the walls had a weird dirty spot. One of the curtains had a strange stain on it.
Window curtains were practically sheer which let in so much light.
Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Pillows were so flat even using 2 at a time didn't help.
We slept very poorly at this hotel.
Very loud with outside noise but we expected that because it was Chicago.
All I'm saying is for the insane price of this hotel (and no free breakfast), we expected more.

Unfortunately, my stay at the Best Western Chicago Grant Park Hotel was very disappointing. The cleanliness of the hotel and room was far below what I expected.
The staff was also not welcoming. They were rude and did not greet us or make us feel like valued guests. Good customer service should start with a simple hello and a friendly attitude, but that was missing during our stay.
The room was not cleaned properly. In particular, the bathroom sink still had hair and toothpaste residue left behind, which was very unpleasant and made me question the overall cleanliness of the room.
There is also an intense, unpleasant odor in the room that you simply cannot get rid of, no matter how much you try. The overall cleanliness was very disappointing, and the condition of the room made it difficult to feel comfortable during the stay.
What I find particularly frustrating is reading the hotel’s responses to previous reviews, where they repeatedly describe the complaints as an “opportunity to grow” and assure guests that they take the feedback seriously. Unfortunately, based on my experience, it does not appear that much has actually changed. The rooms seem to be just as dirty and poorly maintained as they were when those reviews were written. At some point, acknowledging the problem in a response is not enough—the hotel needs to actually address it and make meaningful improvements.
For the reputation of the Best Western brand, I expected much better service, cleanliness, and hospitality. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Very disappointing and seriously overpriced. Never coming back!
This hotel is run-down, outdated, and nowhere near the quality I expected. I was on a planned business trip and originally booked 4 nights. With rates reaching $250 up to $400 per night, I expected a much higher standard of quality. Breakfast wasn’t even included—wow.
After seeing the condition of the hotel, I canceled the remaining three nights and booked another hotel that was significantly more luxurious and cheaper. I stayed only the first night at this Best Western.
For the price and overall quality, this hotel is definitely overpriced. It’s advertised as a 3-star hotel, but in my opinion, this Best Western is 2 stars at best.

Not at all impressed for the money paid. Def NOT a three star, maybe a 2 star hotel. I made reservations online. A restaurant was advertised. I also quiried for breakfast/ free breakfast and paid for what I thought clearly included breakfast. We arrived and the young lady informed me there was no breakfast. And the restaurant was closed. We could go, at our own cost to the neighboring bakery qnd they could provide a 10% discount. Not at all what we wanted. I asked that she call or test a manager that we had made a reservation w/breakfast.
She informed us that we could talk with management around 10am. I informed them we'd be long gone att.
Then asked the gentlemen if there was a bag cart. No help was offered. I was directed to the hallway by the bathrooms to find the cart. We loaded our bags on the cart, lugged the cart in.
This morning there wasn't coffee out until around 7. My husband called for the car to be ready for 7. He got the cart and our car was still not there. It showed up finally. And as we walked through the lobby there was an awful smell like a dirty mop had been used and drying blowers on.
We paid the $58 dollars for valet. No one else was there checking in when we arrived. The gentleman that was supposed to park the car had walked away. After we brought our luggage to the room my husband returned the cart, our car was still parked in the street. My husband asked the desk clerk if someone was going to park it. She seem not to know what car. It was the only one sitting on the street. 20/30 min later our cousin went outside to smoke and our car was still sitting there.
This morning there were 2 men standing about not a one asked if we needed help. My hsuband loaded up the car, then one of the gentlemen can get the cart from us.
Our reservation was for 3 people, the shoe box room we were assigned had two towels and had a slight smell. The room had peeling paint in a few areas and we found what we think was a Tylenol in the bed and on the floor.
If your traveling w/out expectations of a hotel that is less than then stay here. If you expect any thing....go elsewhere.
Absolutely 100 percent disappointed in this hotel, the hospitality, accommodations etc.
The young lady at thr desk when we returned to pic up something we had forgotten was the only positive.
NOT worth the money, not at all.
