  I have never liked the Braidwood Subway although it's been a better alternative than the one in Wilmington. But I've gotten stale bread in the Braidwood location at least three times. I tried it a couple of weeks ago to give them another chance because I haven't been over there in several months. The sandwich was okay but nothing to write home about. I have never ever had a bad experience in the Coal City Subway. The Coal City one is the best around here for sure.

  It was a pretty slow sunday afternoon and this employee was taking his sweet time as customers kept piling into the restaurant. He was very hard to understand because he spoke quietly, he couldn’t differentiate between customers saying yes or no to certain questions or ingredients.

  We got sandwiches one evening. They were disgusting! The bread was stale and the veggies were not fresh by any standard. The veggies made the entire sandwiches soggy. They got put in the trash. I hated to throw my money in the garage considering how expensive the sanwiches are. It wasn't worth getting sick though. It was Wednesday evening 4/8/26 around 6 Pm. When we went in the store it took several minutes for the employees to come out of the back room.
