I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this Subway location. This just happened at approximately 8:13, and I am currently sitting in my car writing this review because I am honestly disgusted by what I just experienced.
When I walked in, I greeted the employee and was not acknowledged. I placed a simple order for Italian herb and cheese bread, yet the employee continuously got my order wrong. Every item I clearly selected, she chose the opposite. It felt like she was not paying attention at all. She also had an AirPod in during my order, which may have contributed to the lack of focus.
Instead of correcting the mistakes professionally, she became visibly frustrated, slamming items down and handling my order in a careless and unprofessional manner. She also laughed during the interaction, which made the experience even more disappointing.
At the same time, a male employee was mopping the floor with no wet floor signs present. I also observed him return directly to food preparation after handling the mop without washing his hands, which is extremely concerning from a hygiene standpoint.
When I asked for their names and the manager’s name so I could report the incident, the situation escalated. The male employee became aggressive and unprofessional. He also made inappropriate and unprofessional comments when describing the manager, which was unacceptable in a workplace setting.
The information provided about management was also inconsistent and confusing.
Overall, the attitude, lack of professionalism, poor communication, and serious concerns regarding cleanliness and food safety were unacceptable.
I am very disappointed, especially since I visit Subway regularly. I cannot believe I was treated this way, and I hope management addresses these issues immediately.
