Walked in and asked for a foot-long listed a whole bunch of vegetables cause I like a lot on my sandwich so I paused too patiently wait until she was caught up to add the other things I wanted like my sauces and she just adds the vegetables closes the sandwich up and cut it in half and start packaging it up so I interrupted it and said oh I wanted some sauces on that. Can you give me mayonnaise and my other sauces she’s like oh yeah there’s no sauces on there and Blakely stares at me I said yeah I wanted some sauces and she said oh I can give you some packets. It doesn’t make any sense. Why would you fold my sandwich up dry as hell and then not reopen it to fix your mistake and you want me to pay $14 for a sandwich they need to slow down and get the order right I won’t be back.

Had a terrible experience earlier this week at this Subway. The store didn't even bother to reach out. We live in strange times. We have many fast food restaurants who are adapting and adjusting to ensure they are providing good food for good value because the marketplace is so competitive. And then we have Subway. They think it's okay to charge $17-$20 for a footlong in 2026 and they don't make it according to how it was ordered at all. Dealing with my specific concern at this store, when I pointed out my concern to them they just blamed their co-worker for making a crappy sub, and took no responsibility for what happened. The arrogance.
Has anyone told them there are at least 15-20 other places in the greater Springfield IL area where you can get a better sub (at a cheaper price) than Subway? And it would be made correctly too. I may never go to Subway again. I'm just done with this place. I certainly won't go to this location again if I do though. Be better Subway. Be better.

I can't believe I have to say this, but the lady behind the counter wasn't wearing gloves, cut her finger, and got BLOOD in my sandwich. I called the health department and I'm not entirely sure they can do anything, but hopefully this can be resolved.
