  We give 1 out of 5 stars, because of the absence of 0 stars. This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed. Keep driving until you find anything else. This Best Western looks like any other. But … I will start with the receptionist giving us the room key in a very used card holder. It smells like an Indian restaurant. Very old, worn and outdated furniture in the room. Linen and pillowcases are as thin as paper. One of them was torn and all different in a yellowish fainted color instead of white. Towels were old, yellowish and thin like in a cheap motel. They looked nasty and disgusting and so did the linen. The a/c in the room never really cooled nor removed the humidity in the room. The hallway was actually cooler than the room. The water never got hot enough even for a clean shave. The rug must be 30 years old and hasn’t been washed ever and so are the mattresses. We paid $168 for 11 hours of discomfort and disgust. I repeat: keep driving.

  Nous nous y sommes arrêtés en famille lors de notre road trip et nous avons passé un bon séjour. L’hôtel est calme et nous avons très bien dormi, malgré le fait qu’il y avait beaucoup de clients, principalement des travailleurs de passage. L’insonorisation semblait bonne et l’ambiance était tranquille. Le propriétaire était très accueillant et sympathique. Un petit plus intéressant : une salle de machines à sous est accessible directement sur place. Le déjeuner est inclus. Il s’agit d’un buffet froid avec des céréales, du pain, des boissons et quelques options de base. Le choix est toutefois assez limité, particulièrement du côté des fruits. À noter également qu’il n’y avait pas de lait de vache lors de notre passage, seulement du lait d’amande et du lait de coco. Dans l’ensemble, c’est un bon endroit pour faire une halte d’une nuit, surtout si vous êtes sur la route et recherchez un endroit propre, calme et confortable.

  Avoid! Gave me a room in late evening that had not yet been cleaned, with unmade bed and towels everywhere. Second room had defective TV. You can do better, especially for the price.

  I stay at this Best Western semi regularly when I visit Kewanee, IL for multiple days. In my opinion, it is the best option if you want to be close AND comfortable. The rooms are very spacious and the lobby of the hotel typically always smells really great. Additionally, the staff are beyond kind and helpful. There isn’t a lot to offer in the way of restaurants besides Subway and Mick’s (have not been there). But the Neponset Oasis is a nice little bar that has amazing food and is within a 20 min drive. There are also your typical fast food staples and a Walmart in Kewanee. The hotel also serves breakfast. I’m typically up and out early so I’ve never had it. I highly recommend this Best Western if you need accommodations in the area. It isn’t a brand new hotel, but the owners have maintained it very well and it is always quiet.
