I sent an image for printing to a local shop. Got a voicemail about concerns; they asked me to call back. I did, and got a robot that simply refused to put me through to the local store. After several tries, I gave up. I will not spend my money anywhere that insulates themselves with a layer of phone robots. *They* asked *me* to call back, but their system wouldn't let me.
I went to the store and talked to the rep. She said, "You mean option 8 didn't put you through?" I had to fight not to burst out laughing. Option 8 from a robot is usually something like, "Are you interested in learning more about investor relations with our Central Asian subsidiaries?" No, it suffices to say, I did not listen for option 8. The first option was, as I recall, "Are you calling about a print order for delivery or pickup." I was.
Beyond this, I canceled my order because the image would have printed very differently (heavily cropped) from the way it appeared online. So I can't trust their online ordering system, and I can't contact the store.
