In the midst of a commercial area, surrounded by fast food, car dealerships, and a dumpy extended stay hotel (rents for $295/week) next door. Very little grass area, on a very busy road. Rooms have been remodeled, front desk staff was very pleasant.

The hotel itself was pretty much what you’d expect from a typical chain hotel. The room was clean, and overall I had a decent stay. My only real gripe was with the tipping situation. There was an envelope in the room encouraging guests to tip housekeeping, but right next to it was a notice explaining that rooms would not be cleaned daily during multi-night stays. It felt odd to be asked to tip for a service that wasn’t actually being provided each day. More broadly, tipping culture in America seems to be getting out of hand, especially at large hotel chains where guests are already paying premium prices while receiving fewer amenities and less service than they used to.

Rooms are a bit dated, noisy if you face the street, but great location, close to the falls, centennial park, and all restaurants, shopping location

Expect a room facing the parking lot. Did not feel safe considering I am a single female traveling alone. If I would have known the rooms had outside facing entrances I wouldn’t have booked this hotel. The photos provided by best western do not align with my the actual facility.

We stayed year a little under a year ago, thought I put a review in for them but I must have forgotten. The room was spacious, the hotel was super clean, the pool area, while we didn’t use it, looked really nice. We were on our way home from a trip to Seattle back to Illinois, so it was nice having a decent place to stay after traveling all day
