This was one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences I've had.
I placed my order online using the "Find My Location" option, but it somehow defaulted to a previous Wingstop location, forcing me to drive across town to pick up my food. On the way, I called the restaurant, explained what had happened, and asked if my fries could be made extra crispy.
When I arrived, I waited quite a while before anyone acknowledged me. The fries I was given were still limp and soggy, so I asked if they could remake them. I was told it would only take 2–3 minutes. Instead, I waited 15–20 minutes, only to then be told they were just starting them, followed by another five-minute wait. During that entire time, my chicken sat on the counter getting cold.
Meanwhile, my young child struggled having to remain buckled in a car seat in the parking lot for far longer than expected. If I had been given an honest estimate from the beginning, I would have simply left with the original fries instead of waiting while the rest of my meal became cold.
The explanation that they were "busy" didn't match what I observed. Only one other customer came in while I was there, and the staff moved with very little urgency. The pace and lack of attentiveness were disappointing.
By the time we got home, the food was cold, and the quality wasn't worth the wait. I could only manage a couple of bites before throwing the rest away. The entire experience—from the ordering issue to the poor service and disappointing food—felt disrespectful of my time. I won't be returning.
