Honestly, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a long time. This was our first time ever trying Wingstop, and unfortunately, it completely ruined our first impression.
We ordered traditional wings, but when we got our food, we were given boneless wings instead. I called the restaurant and was told we could come back and pick up the correct order, so we made the trip back expecting the issue to be fixed.
When we arrived, the manager couldn’t even be bothered to come up and speak to us or explain what was going on. Instead, the employee simply told us they couldn’t remake our wings because “the manager said so.” 😐 After we had already driven back to the restaurant because they gave us the wrong food, the least we expected was some basic communication, an apology, or an effort to make things right.
What made it even more disappointing was that the fries tasted extremely sweet and old, which made the entire meal feel like a complete waste of money.
Mistakes happen. We completely understand that. What matters is how a business handles those mistakes, and unfortunately, the customer service we received made us feel like our order and our money simply didn’t matter.
