I would like to give a huge thank you to the team at Advance Auto Parts in Burlington, Iowa, for their outstanding customer service.
Recently, my driver's side brake light went out, so I stopped at another auto parts store to purchase a replacement bulb. Unfortunately, I was sold the wrong bulb and was repeatedly assured it was correct, despite my concerns. Since I live outside of town and was unfamiliar with changing a brake light myself, I didn't want to make the trip home only to discover the bulb was incorrect and have to drive all the way back.
So I decided to stop at Advance Auto Parts for a second opinion. I brought in my vehicle information along with the bulb I had purchased elsewhere. The gentleman who assisted me was professional, courteous, and respectful from the moment I walked in. He quickly confirmed that I had indeed been sold the wrong bulb, helped me find the correct replacement, and then took the time to walk me through the process of changing it.
Before I left the parking lot, my brake light was fixed and working properly. What started as a frustrating experience turned into a very positive one thanks to the exceptional service I received at Advance Auto Parts.
It's rare to find employees who are willing to go the extra mile to help a customer, and that level of service deserves recognition. Because of this experience, Advance Auto Parts has earned my business, and I will gladly return for my future automotive needs.
