This is now the third time I’ve placed an online order at the Subway in Blue Grass and showed up at the time the app said it would be ready, only to have my order set aside while they continued making food for every customer walking into the store.
Today I placed my order about 20 minutes before I arrived, and it was supposed to be ready. Instead, I stood there waiting while customer after customer came in, ordered, and had their food made before my online order was finished. And I wasn’t the only online customer standing there dealing with the same thing.
I understand getting busy, but what is the point of ordering ahead if your order gets pushed behind everyone who walks through the door? Online orders are paying customers too, and if an order is given a pickup time, there should be some effort to have it ready around that time.
Once could be a bad day. Twice could be a coincidence. Three times is a pattern. The way online orders are being handled at this location seriously needs to be addressed.
