Every week we receive wet, soaked, and damaged boxes from FedEx. It’s become a consistent issue, not a one-time mistake. We rely on carriers to protect our shipments, especially here in Hawaiʻi where weather is a factor, yet packages continue to arrive exposed to the elements.
The claims process is convoluted and extremely time-consuming. We shouldn’t have to file a claim every time it rains. From what we’ve been told, packages are processed and stored under tents. For a multi-billion-dollar corporation, that’s unacceptable. Hawaii destinations deserve proper warehousing and weather protection just like anywhere else.
We’ve contacted local management, and unfortunately responsibility hasn’t been acknowledged or addressed in any meaningful way.
At this point, we are asking our vendors to avoid using FedEx whenever possible. We simply cannot continue dealing with preventable damage and wasted time.
Very disappointing experience.
