I went in last week to get a gift card. As I walked in, there was a homeless woman sitting outside by the window, and she appeared to be in a very distressed state. She was yelling, and I almost turned around and left, but I decided to go inside. There was nobody inside, so I walked straight to the cashier to get a gift card. Then, all of a sudden, I noticed a man sitting in the corner, yelling and screaming to himself. I was honestly very scared and uncomfortable. I told the cashier, #12, that this was a very scary situation and asked why he was allowed to sit inside. I told her that I didn’t feel safe and suggested that security or the police be called if necessary. She completely ignored my concerns and did nothing. When I finally left and got into my car, the woman who had been sitting outside began urinating on the floor right there with her clothes on. I was completely disgusted and shocked! I have no problem with homeless people coming in to get food or sitting down. But when someone is clearly in a distressed or unstable state and is yelling and behaving in a way that makes a customer feel unsafe, I believe the employees should address the situation instead of ignoring it. I will never come to this Subway again! I felt that my safety concerns were completely dismissed. Shame on you, cashier #12! It’s obvious, this is not the first incident of drugged out homeless people behaving in such a horrific way and able to sit in this restaurant. Disturbing!
