I had a very disappointing experience while checking in at around 9:00 PM in mid-June. After a long day of traveling with my family, we arrived at the hotel exhausted and ready to rest.
Unfortunately, the front desk associate, Gemma, was rude and unprofessional throughout the check-in process. She repeatedly told me I did not have a reservation, even though I had a confirmed booking. The issue turned out to be that my first and last name had been entered incorrectly on the reservation. Instead of helping resolve the problem, she made the situation more stressful than it needed to be.
As a tired traveler with my family waiting, I expected courtesy and a willingness to help. This experience left a very negative impression. As a hotel that serves many military members and their families, I expected a much higher level of customer service and professionalism. I hope management addresses this issue so future guests are treated with the respect and assistance they deserve.
We got a great room with perfect view of Honolulu, sea and mountains. The really annoying thing was, that they charged my credit card three times and created two different invoices with a different amount from the initial credit card charge. And the best thing; they charged a 50 USD safety deposit one day after my departure. Strange. They stopped communicating and I can now spend my time chasing my money. Annoying. Would not stay there again.

We had a great experience at this Best Western Plaza Hotel. We stayed for just one night before our flight, and it was the perfect location since the airport is within walking distance. They also offer a free shuttle to and from the airport, which was very convenient.
As a nice surprise, Raymart upgraded us to a better room at no extra charge for our stay. He was incredibly kind and made us feel very welcome. We really appreciated the excellent service and would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Raymart, for helping make our stay even better!

This place is highway robbery. Took advantaage of the situatiin. Arrived late to Oahu due to delays. Could not rent a car at that time. Lyft to Best Western, that was the closest to airport. Being jet lagged I did not notice I wasnt given a reciept. But, the rate had said 174.00 for the night. Checking in at 2:30 am Sunday. When I checked out finding out I was charged 350.00 for 6 hours of sleep in a discusting handicap room. I will never stay at a best western again. I definatly dont rrecommened this particular hotel to anyone
Very convenient location. Only issue ( they can't control ) is the road noise on the highway side floors 6 to 10 (rooms x07 to x29). I sleep with sound machines and like ambient noise but someone who likes quiet, be sure to book a room away from the highway side. Staff have been 😊 Maintenance issues were quickly resolved, front desk is helpful and explains issues with understanding to your point of view. Parking garage is tight but convenient. McDonald's is next door. Included breakfast is terrific! Much better than a lot of places and saves you a ton. Ask for to go stuff and you can grab food at 7 and head out for your days adventure. Tip the staff. Times are tough and a free meal with your stay, especially as good as this, is worthy. Tipping has gone crazy but sometimes it worth the effor the staff puts in. To finish this out, I'm here on orders and there are a lot of military folks. I see everyone is treated with respect and kindness. I'll upload some photos later..
