I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this FedEx location. When I arrived, the staff politely asked me to wait for assistance, which I did patiently. However, when the store manager, later identified as Miss Payne, came to the front desk, she immediately began shouting at me and giving directions in a condescending tone, as if I were a child.
When I tried to explain what I needed, she repeatedly interrupted me, making it impossible to communicate. Feeling disrespected, I decided to leave the store without resolving my issue.
Afterward, I called the store to get her name for reference in reporting the incident, but refused to provide her name and hung up on me twice. When I finally spoke with her, she dismissively told me to contact corporate, stating she didn’t care because she would be sending her own follow-up email.
While I was on the phone with corporate, Miss Payne called me back, provided her name, and I merged the calls so corporate could hear how she handled the situation. At that point, I informed her that I no longer needed her assistance and that I would be visiting another location to handle my shipment.
This level of unprofessionalism and outright disrespect is unacceptable. I have reported the incident to corporate, but I hope this review serves as a warning for others. Customer service like this is not what I expect from FedEx.
