I'll definitely never return to the subway location ever again. The surface was horrible and my sandwich was made so sloppy. When I entered the establishment, the attendant seemed to be distracted/ busy with a larger order or maybe it was a called in order. Either way, she seemed to be distracted and wasn't very welcoming. I ignored it because I understand that sometimes we can all have bad days. I asked her if she was still serving breakfast. She plainly responded "yes". I don't even think I was greeted when I came through the door. It took her a while to get to me because she was focus on making the pickup order for a customer who wasn't even there yet. By the way, I was the only person in the building. At the end of the awkward exchange, my sandwich had finally been made. It was extremely sloppy, but I didn't care. I was just hungry. I had a gift card that I literally just used yesterday. The lady from the Subway yesterday gave me a receipt with my balance on it. I still had a balance of $8. I told her this and then proceeded to use the gift card. The gift card wouldn't work at the terminal, I suppose because it was a little worn down. She kept telling me the gift card didn't work. I told her that I just used it yesterday and I have a receipt showing that there's a balance. She shrugged her shoulders and just kept repeating that it wouldn't work. I asked her if she could manually input the gift card. I used to work at a restaurant, so I understand how using a POS works. She tried to tell me that she couldn't manually input it. I asked her another time if it was possible for her to input it in the computer on her end. She grabbed the credit card terminal and started trying to input the card manually. Not on her POS, but on the terminal that I (the customer) was using. I could have told you that wasn't going to work. I tried to re-explain to her, that maybe it would work if she manually input it on her end, on the computer she was using. She just shook her head no. And told me sorry it won't work. I got frustrated and just paid for the poorly made sandwich because I was starving and happened to be on a 20-hour road trip. From this 20-hour road trip, I was so pissed off at this experience that she didn't even try to rectify the situation that I decided to pull over and write this review. I try not to judge a book by its cover, but I should have known because the establishment was run down and extremely dirty on the outside to begin with. Hopefully this will spark a notion within the manager to retrain their employees on customer service and on how to use the POS. Side Note - I just inputted the number from my gift card online and like I said, I still have a balance on there that I wasn't able to use. Funny how I was able to use it yesterday at the other subway location.
