  Not a fair deal. Very bad experience. They don’t bother to help the customers. I purchased brake rotors and pads from the Advance Auto Parts store in Cumming, GA. I specifically chose their high-quality high-carbon rotors along with Gold Premium brake pads because I wanted the best quality for my vehicle. I also received a great promotional price in July. Unfortunately, Advance Auto Parts gave me the wrong rotors. We didn’t discover the mistake until my mechanic had already disassembled my vehicle to install the new brakes. At that point, we realized the rotors did not fit my vehicle. This was entirely an Advance Auto Parts error. My mechanic suggested that I go to the nearest Advance Auto Parts store to exchange them for the correct parts. I had to carry two heavy brake rotors and walk more than two miles to the store. When I arrived, they did not have the same high-carbon rotors in stock. Since my vehicle was already taken apart at the repair shop, I had no choice but to accept lower-quality rotors that I never intended to buy. To make matters worse, I then had to carry the replacement rotors back to the mechanic, again walking more than a mile. It was an extremely frustrating and physically exhausting experience. The July promotional pricing I originally received was not honored during the exchange. In the end, I lost on every front—I didn’t get the premium high-carbon rotors I paid for, I ended up paying more for lower-quality rotors, and I wasted hours of my time and energy because of Advance Auto Parts’ mistake. What disappointed me the most was the lack of concern from the staff. There was no effort to make the situation right or compensate me for the inconvenience they caused. This entire experience could have been avoided if the correct parts had been provided in the first place. I expected much better customer service and accountability from Advance Auto Parts.

  I went to the Johns Creek location of Advanced Auto Parts yesterday. I could not give enough accolades as to how I was treated. John D was so kind, helpful, knowledgeable and honest. I was not able to get my car fixed, due to some complications, but John D was diligent in making sure I was able to drive to the dealership and educated me on the problem with my car. I would encourage anyone to visit this location for honest, respectful assistance. Thanks again John D. Toni

  Replaced my battery. Didnt try to upsell me. Made the whole thing happen, transaction and battery change in about twenty minutes.
