  The location is great! Our first room smelled like mold enough to make you sick. We changed rooms and while it was newly remodeled, the bed was very uncomfortable with an old/cheap mattress. Won't be coming back.

  The staff was honestly the best part of our one night stay. Everyone from the front desk woman to the cleaning staff were warm and welcoming. The room isn't fancy but it was clean and we slept fine. Continental breakfast was a hit with our son. The location couldn't be better either, right on the main street of downtown Helen. Would stay here again if I was in the mood for a hotel room here.

  The rooms were spacious the only drawback is that we were quoted $131 per room for one night. We need two so $262. We made the reservation and my boyfriend’s parents did the check in. The guy I spoke to apparently never sent us a confirmation email we weren’t in their system and were charged almost double what we were quoted over the phone. I get that we went during the Oktoberfest but why do that??? I was hoping the guy I had spoke to would be there so I could talk to him about what happened but he was not. Breakfast was included which was great a good little selection and an easy walk to town. The staff was also friendly otherwise. Just upset at being charged almost double for two room despite what we were told over the phone and that we were not in their system.

  The beds were so comfortable, that I wanted to bring the mattress home with me. The bathroom felt a bit cramped, due the door opening inward.
