I went into this UPS Store today like I normally do for my business drop-offs. I’ve been using this location for a long time and usually know most of the staff, but today it was a completely different group of employees I had never seen before.
I print my labels at home, scan my own packages at the self-check-in kiosk, and normally hand them directly to an associate afterward. I do NOT leave my packages sitting at the front check-in area anymore because unfortunately, every time I have in the past, my packages somehow ended up missing.
After scanning my package in today, I handed it to an associate who said her name was Kiana. She immediately placed my package over by the Amazon/check-in area. I politely explained to her that I no longer leave my packages there because I’ve had multiple packages come up missing from that area before. Instead of listening or showing any understanding, she immediately got defensive and told me, “It has to go there.”
As a regular customer, I know that is simply not true because associates have always either placed my packages behind the counter or in the back after I scanned them in. When I explained that to her, her attitude became extremely nasty. She snatched my package off the counter, aggressively moved it, huffed and puffed, and walked away.
When I asked for her name, she said “Kiana” with an attitude as if I was bothering her for simply asking a question.
Honestly, this location has really gone downhill. The lines are constantly out the door now, the newer employees are unfriendly, and the welcoming environment that used to exist is completely gone. First it was my packages mysteriously coming up missing, and now customers also have to deal with rude customer service on top of it.
Very disappointing experience from a store I used to enjoy visiting regularly
Bring back the old staff Brevin, Adriana, Josh, & Andrew they made us customers feel like family ❤️
