My mom was involved in auto accident that wasn't her fault. I went into her local agent office (Todd Love), was treated very rudely & I quote "this isn't your fault so there's nothing for us to do, you have to deal with Progressive." 1 year later, still dealing with accident; hospital, ambulance, Medicare, collection threats and not ONCE her local office tried to help (even though Allstate customer service keeps saying they should have been advocating for me & been dealing with all the frustrations associated with the accident). If you are looking for Insurance, highly suggest that you can do better than these people.

Last May I was in a car accident (not my fault, rear-ended by girl going 60+mph based on Police report). Next day took Police report & went to my local office (Todd Love), to inform them of accident & provide Police Report. The gentleman there was not interested in any questions we had or offered any type of guidance or assistance with dealing with Progressive / accident issues.
From beginning was having difficulty with Progressive (Insurance of driver who hit me), it was weeks before they settled with car. Then bills began to come to me with calls threatening collection, neither Progressive OR MY INSURANCE that I pay much inflated rates for car & house insurance NEVER bothered to help or get involved as my advocate, I was left on my own. As a older lady who recently lost husband, I was left to navigate the world of computers, cell phones text, apps, etc without slightest attention from my insurance provider who proclaims "you're in good hands", more like "You Are in NO hands". The customer support people I have spoken for have apologized & said this should not have happened like this, your local agent should have helped.
1 year later, I'm still getting medical bills for hospital where I was brought to verify no serious injuries were found. I would leave them (Allstate), but unfortunately, it's difficult to find affordable Car / House insurance as a senior lady on fixed income. I would NOT recommended giving them your money because they have no interest in helping when they are needed.

We have a roof in need of replacement. Allstate sent us a check for $2,400.00. They would not work with us or our contractor for the full replacement. Our contractor finally gave up and had to move on. Allstate went up on our insurance due to the claim. I do not recommend them.

It was good but it didn't take long for the cost of the insurance to go up. Seems like you just have to change Insurance every 6 months or so to keep your cost down. I don't understand it. Other than the cost it was a good experience but currently looking for cheaper insurance. You can find cheaper insurance to get you in and then they raise it in 6 months forcing you to continually have to keep changing insurance companies you can't be loyal to them anymore.
