I had the best customer service aka human experience at the 644 Mirror Rd, College Park location. Tammy and Marquez went above and beyond to solve a somewhat complicated situation. They stayed with me and the problem until it was solved. Specifically taking the time to research the problem, finding out tge source of the problem and then solving it. Marquez took the time to imitate the action to find a resolution, took responsibility because it turns out that the onus was on DHL and provided updates and clear communication until the problem was solved. Sincerely, I am truly grateful and deeply appreciative for both Marquez and Tammy's kind and professional assistance.

Adrian Rucker was absolutely excellent. He was so very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. This was my first DHL experience but it will absolutely not be my last. Thank you Adrian Rucker for such a wonderful experience.

Just had a really disappointing experience at this location for the first time ever. I usually come later in the evenings, and the night shift employee is always incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating. I’ve shipped at least six packages to Asia through this location over the past several months and have even recommended this store to others because of how efficient and helpful they’ve always been.
Today, however, my experience was completely different. I came in with three packages, as I normally do, and the employee immediately told me she needed to open every single item — despite everything already being carefully sealed and packaged. I understood inspecting a few items if necessary, but she proceeded to open everything while repeatedly complaining about having to do it.
At one point, she even asked a manager to confirm the policy. The manager briefly looked over and walked away without really addressing the situation, which made the interaction even more uncomfortable and embarrassing.
I explained that I’ve shipped multiple packages to Asia from this exact location without any issues and that customs has never required my packages to be opened like this before. She insisted that previous employees “weren’t doing it correctly,” despite the fact that I’ve been shipping here for over a year with no problems.
Unfortunately, the unnecessary handling ruined some of the packaging for gifts I was sending to clients. I always complete all customs forms properly and have never had any issues shipping internationally with DHL.
I spend $300–$400 every time I ship here, so this experience was extremely disappointing. Customer service and professionalism matter, especially for loyal customers. Sadly, I won’t be returning after this experience.
