I had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever experienced at Wingstop. The employee, Michael, was extremely disrespectful and unprofessional from the moment I interacted with him.
I was owed $4 in change from my order. My food was placed on the counter without my name being called, and I sat there waiting for several minutes. Eventually, Michael stood directly in front of me and yelled, “Britt,” in a very rude and aggressive tone. When I acknowledged him, he told me that my food had been sitting there in a nasty manner.
I asked where my change was, along with a cup since I had ordered a combo and had not received one. His response was extremely disrespectful, saying things along the lines of, “I’ll get your change. You don’t have to worry about that since you’re pressed about some money.” I could then hear him in the back making comments about me wanting “my little money,” as if I was wrong for asking for the money I was owed.
Another employee eventually placed my change on the counter for me to pick up instead of handing it to me. Even after that, Michael continued arguing with me as I was leaving. The interaction escalated to him calling me out of my name and using profanity toward me. He even brought my mother into the argument, which was completely unnecessary and unacceptable.
What made the situation even more disturbing was that Michael stated that he had spit in my food. Whether he actually did it or not, an employee should never make a statement like that to a customer. That alone is completely unacceptable and makes me question the safety and cleanliness of the food being served.
There were other customers in the restaurant who witnessed what happened and even encouraged me to stand up for myself because of how I was being treated.
I was initially going to let this experience go, but I don't believe customers should have to tolerate this type of behavior after spending their hard-earned money at a business. No customer should be yelled at, insulted, cursed at, or made to feel uncomfortable simply for asking for the correct change and items they paid for.
I will never patronize this location again!!! Management needs to seriously address Michael’s behavior and the way customers are being treated. This was completely unacceptable and one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had.

This is the second time I have tried to do an online order, and the system doesn't take my order but charges my card. I explained this to the person that answered the phone and asked to give my order over the phone since I was already charged, but she refused. The first time when I tried to process the payment the system said that something went wrong but yet my card was charged. I had to wait 4 days for the charge to clear then call my bank to dispute the charge. This time it said that my card declined, I immediately checked my account, and what do you know my card was charged again and of course the associate doesn't see my order. Might not be that big of a deal to you all but it's a hassle to your customers, and the associate last week said that I wasn't the only person this has happened to. you have loss me as a customer due to this inconvenience. I'll find me another wing spot that can get it right.
This bad review is due to your online ordering process being absolutely not user friendly whatsoever. I tried making an order, it sent me to a store further away….i literally copy and pasted the address and it got messed up, sent the drive on a wild goose chase.
Just ridiculous!
Fix you’re system.

WINGSTOP – 595 PIEDMONT REVIEW (July 2026)
TL;DR
Late‑night Wingstop run after work, solid food, great app experience, packed store, and clutch indoor seating. If this helps you find your next midnight bite, hit that like — let me know you’re outside collecting experiences too.
Full Review
Price: 4
Standard Wingstop pricing — nothing wild, nothing dramatic. Fair for a late‑night meal in Midtown.
Taste & Textures: 4
Wings were hot, seasoned, and exactly what you want at 12AM. Fries were fresh, and everything hit the spot after a long shift.
Vibes: 3.5
The store was packed, but in a lively “everybody’s hungry and minding their business” way. I was pleasantly surprised to see indoor seating, clutch, because I was starving and able to eat half my meal before walking home. The drink station and floors were a bit dirty, and the floor was slippery in a few spots, so just be mindful.
Service: 4
Hospitable staff despite the rush. I ordered online, waited inside, and it took about 20 minutes. Loved seeing my order visually on the TVs tracking progress , kept me from bothering the team until it showed ready. The app was easy to use, and the tracking was smooth.
Overall Value: 4
Late‑night food, indoor seating, friendly staff, and an app that actually works? Solid value for a midnight Wingstop run.
Overall, Wingstop at 595 Piedmont gave a strong 4‑star energy: convenient, tasty, and reliable when you need a late‑night bite. Tap like if you’re rocking with these reviews.
