  I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding an incident at the Advance Auto Parts store located at 2025 Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. Curtis offered to add oil to my vehicle. I accepted because I believed the service would be performed correctly. Unfortunately, after adding the oil, Curtis failed to reinstall the engine oil filler cap. Instead, the cap was left on the engine and was crushed when the hood was closed. The hood also became stuck because it was closed with the cap left in the engine bay. When I discovered the problem, Curtis did not come outside to assist or take responsibility for the situation. Instead, another associate, Zack, came out and helped me get the hood unjammed. I appreciate Zack's professionalism and willingness to help when Curtis would not. After leaving the store, my vehicle's check engine light came on, and the engine began shaking and knocking, which it had not done before this incident. I am very concerned that the oil filler cap being left off and crushed under the hood may have contributed to these issues. I am requesting that Advance Auto Parts investigate this incident, review Curtis's actions, and contact me regarding how the company intends to address the damage and my concerns. Customers should be able to trust that assistance offered by employees is performed carefully and professionally. In this case, that trust was broken. I appreciate your time and look forward to your prompt response.

  I noticed that Curtis who wears shorts or jean shorts had poor hygiene, including a strong unpleasant odor and bad breath, which made the interaction uncomfortable. As a manager representing the company, I believe employees in customer-facing positions should maintain a professional appearance and basic hygiene standards to ensure a positive experience for customers. I am bringing this matter to your attention because I value the service provided by Advance Auto Parts and believe this issue should be addressed appropriately. I hope management can look into this situation and provide any necessary guidance or support to improve the customer experience.

  Their normal greeting is "whatyaneed?" :) i will always go across the street to the Autozone if i have a choice.
